i-Treasures on TRAINING WORKSHOP: Intangible Heritage, New Technologies and Rural Development

On Friday the 16th of September, CERTH along with the UCL Centre for Museums, Heritage and Material Culture Studies and the Directorate of Modern Cultural Heritage and Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports organized the within the framework of the research program i-Treasures organized a Training Workshop that focused on the Intangible Heritage, New Technologies and Rural Development. The Workshop took place at the Folk Life and Ethnological Museum of Macedonia and Thrace located in the city of Thessaloniki and it was open to all professionals working in cultural organizations, university departments, associations, museums, schools and local authorities and the wider public. During the Workshop presented scientific approaches, methods and tools for the safeguarding of Intangible Heritage. Furthermore i-Treasures research team had the opportunity to showcase the demo of the game-like applications for the ICH use cases of Traditional Dance and Pottery.
